Jesus is Our Sabbath

Are you becoming concerned about the degree of evil in the world? When you think you have heard it all, you are shocked to hear an even more disturbing story of the ruthless, , violent, horrific acts committed by people. Many of these people claim they are honoring their god. Others deny God and are merely attacking those that do have faith and know God. It is enough to make you anxious and worried about your future and that of those you care about.

As much as the news of evil can lead to despair, realize that the enemy of God has  been on the offensive for a very long time and has much experience. In the time of Christ, before Christ, and since Christ's resurrection, God's people have suffered and endured unimaginable evil. Still, know that God is in control and has his eye on those that love him. Jesus is our refuge, our place of rest; He is our sabbath. Keep resting and trusting in Him. Be prayerful. Pray especially that those that do not know Jesus, may have the eyes of their hearts open and come to know his peace and love and spread that to others.

They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. Titus 1:16
