A New Year In Christ

The introduction of a brand new year is the perfect time to pause and reflect. Many people follow their time of reflection with making New Year's resolutions. These typically focus on making a commitment to break a bad habit or change an unhealthy life choice. There are those that attempt to take on a new approach, new look or even a new relationship. The problem is that most people are not successful in keeping the commitment they set out to make because the change is one they embark on without having first prayed about their desired change and asking God's hand in supporting them to make it.

Maybe you want to take steps towards change in the New Year. You may want to be more fit, be healthier, volunteer in your church or community, partner with someone to achieve a goal or something else. You are likely to be successful when you have Christ involved in the change but are likely to fail without Him. In Christ you can overcome any obstacle, rise above any challenge,  and yes, be a part of amazing miracles. So relax. The year may be new but Christ is the same today, tomorrow and forever. He believes in you and wants the very best New Year for you.

Happy New Year!!

"Therefore if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold new things have come." 2 Corinthians 5:17
