Unconditional Guarantee

From time to time there are infomercials on TV. The most recent one that was on promoted a product that came with a 100-year guarantee. 100 years! Really? That claim sounds a little skeptical, but after all, most infomercials are worthy of skepticism. A 100 year guarantee these days definitely raises eyebrows. There are few companies around that have survived for that length of time, especially in retail. Guarantees and promises are frequently just a bunch of empty words. Broken commitments and broken homes are more common than kept promises and long term loyalty.

Remember the days when a handshake and a promise meant something? It was once common to trust small retailers and other companies that your family did business with from generation to generation. Perhaps you still are fortunate enough to have a few relationships like that. If so, cherish them because they are hard to come by. No matter what though, there are guarantees and promises that you can trust forever; they are made to you by God.

    He has promised:
  • to supply every need you have. "But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus". Phillipians 4:19.
  • that His grace is sufficient for you. “My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” 2 Corinthians 12:9.
  • that His children will not be overtaken with temptation. "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present your faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy" Jude 24
  • victory over death "but thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" I Corinthians 15:57.
  •  that all things work together for good to those who love and serve Him faithfully Romans 8:28.
  •  that those who believe in Jesus and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins will be saved. Mark 16:16
  • His people eternal life John 10:27-28
    Promise and absolutely guaranteed!

He will never forget his agreement or his promises, not in thousands of years.
Psalm 105:8
