Everyone likes getting things for free. Free gifts, "buy one get one free", coupon deals, or free with membership all are welcome, especially in today's economy. There is just something liberating about knowing you got something free of charge. It is even worthy of sharing in discussions with friends and family as if you had won a trophy or earned a reward.
When it comes to life, free matters. Free to live the way you please, believe what you believe and to go about your day the way you choose. Worry can impact your freedom. It can consume you, distract you and impinge on your wellbeing. If you have experienced worry, you know the grip it can have on you. You also know the relief you enjoy when you are worry free. Jesus Christ wants you to live a worry free life. He wants to know what is on your mind and will lift and carry your concerns or troubles. Pray and provide the Lord with the opportunity to free you from what is weighing down your heart and soul. Then sit back and let God take care of the rest.
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
