Testing, Testing 1, 2, 3....

You may know the feeling and have no doubt been there several, if not many, times before. It is the feeling you experience when you are in the midst of being tested. No, I am not referring to testing for school or an exam. I am referring to the test you experience when circumstances and life events challenge or come against you. It may be a small test, or it could be a large and ongoing test, but in any case you know you are being tested. You reach deep within yourself and stretch outside yourself to muster up the arsenal needed to stand tall and meet the challenge.

You are not alone, nor are you in a place unknown to others just like you. Jesus spent time in the testing zone and encountered the cleaver and calculated attack of Satan himself. He knows what you are going through and is your biggest supporter. Seek Him, wait on Him and count on Him to see you through. Trust that Jesus will sustain, shield and support you even in the most trying times. No test is too hard when Christ is in your corner encouraging and guiding you. What matters is not the test at all. Rather, it is the way you respond, and handle yourself, when being tested that demonstrates your walk and relationship with God.

"Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands." Deuteronomy 8:2
