Peace. It sounds easy but it seems hard to achieve. Having peace in a family, neighborhood, or the world is a worthwhile goal. Still, can it really ever be attained? All around us there are examples of hostility, discord and unrest. It is as if peace is far out of reach and way out of sight. There are wars and rumors of wars. Can we not just have the peace we long for?
Jesus Christ is peace. His ways are perfect and his love is enough to provide the answer to all that ails you and the world. In Him lies grace, calm, harmony, and joy. You can find peace when you connect with the Lord in prayer and quiet conversation. His presence will fill you and provide all that you seek. You will gain a peace that passes all understand even in the midst of difficulties and trials. Yes, peace is right where you are in Christ. Peace be with you.
"Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this."
