There have been some unusual and unsettling reports in the news lately. It seems the world has gone crazy with revolts and the earth appears to be revolting as well! I have heard several people question whether these events are a message from God or a signal of the end of the world. They seem upset, concerned, and at a loss about what to do.
Only God knows the truth about these things and only He knows when the end with come. Every one can speculate and worry, but I suggest that instead we trust in the Lord. He alone is in control of the universe and maintains life as we know it. He always keeps His word and is here to protect us. Sure, recent events may be the signs that Jesus told us to to be looking for. Then again, they may just be part of the ebb and flow of life on earth. So, what should you do? Keep a watchful eye on the world events but never take your eyes off Jesus Christ.
"My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them, for they will refresh your soul. They are like jewels on a necklace. They keep you safe on your way, and your feet will not stumble.You can go to bed without fear; you will lie down and sleep soundly.You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your security." Proverbs 3:21-26
