Controlled by God

Admit it. You are being influenced. It may be that you are influenced by the media, your family, friends, or work.  It may be very subtle and understated, but there are things from your past, as well as the present, which result in the day to day decisions you make. Your words, and your wallet, represent your heart, mind and soul. Like it or not, there is something, or some one, that has control over you and influences what you purchase, how you dress, your affiliations, and what you think.

As a Christian, you should be aligned with and under the control of God. Sure, there will be other factors that play into your life, however, your source of direction or true north, should be Jesus Christ. With Christ at the controls, you will always have a sense of peace, assurance, and purpose. You can trust that all things will work together for good. You will never need to guess about the appropriate way to live your life, or worry about what will happen when your life on earth reaches its end. Are you controlled by God or are you allowing all the powers counter to Christ to control your life?

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:12
