. . . . .

. . . . .

Be honest. Think about it for several minutes. Don't answer until you have really considered the question fully. Ready? OK, here it is. Is there someone that has hurt your feelings or did something to offend you that you haven't forgiven? It could be your spouse, child, relative or a friend. Perhaps it's a neighbor, colleague, or it could even be yourself.

Forgiveness is a gift that you give yourself.  When you forgive you receive a blessing. It's a powerful thing. Forgiveness frees your spirit and removes you from being a prisoner to whatever hurt or matter occurred. Think it's not possible to forgive? It truly is. Forgiveness is rooted in love and love can overcome all things. You have been forgiven through Christ. Christ paid the ultimate price with his life so that you could be forgiven. As a follower of his you too are asked to forgive. Feel like you can't forgive? Ask God to guide you in the process. He knows the way and will be delighted to show you the way.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32
