Peace Be With You

Jesus lives! We all celebrate that fact. On Easter and all through the year Christians find peace in knowing Jesus overcame death and reconciled all believers to God the Father through Christ's sacrifice. Peace is a priceless and beautiful gift. The enemy wants to steal your peace and will take advantage of situations to disrupt peace. As a follower of Jesus is peace something you have in your life day to day?

Don't allow the peace of Jesus Christ to be evaporated and diminished. Guard your heart. Be aware of the enemy's tactics to infiltrate your peace with darts of envy and comparison. Closed the door on the first inkling of peace limiting. Combat the devil's plan to steal your peace by praying and focusing on God's Word. Know in your heart that you can live in peace as Christ desires you to by living like Jesus and for him.

The next time you are tempted to say a negative word about someone, compare yourself to others, or find that your peace is being rocked just STOP! Peace can only be achieved through thoughtful and loving expressions of good will and is genuinely the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Check your motives and beware. Christ's peace is not to be taken for granted. Jesus gives you peace today and always. May you be an instrument of his peace and may the peace of Christ be will you and your family.

"On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” John 20:19-21
