The Power of Prayer

It seems no matter where you look there is someone in need of prayer. See, everyone is dealing with something. It may be finances, illness, loss or relationship issues. Chances are that every person you encounter is in need of prayer for one thing or another. You likely do not think to ask but what if you did? What do you think would happen if for just one day you asked everyone you talked with if there was something you could pray about for them? Sure, they may seem surprised but they also may feel relieved that someone asked. Honestly, what would you say if I asked you? You may think for a minute of so but then you likely would have a prayer request.

So, what is it? Is it a prayer for health, peace, a promotion, or that somehow there will be a solution to a financial shortage? It may be even more importantly a prayer for a place to call home, or a means of transportation or the ability to just make ends meet. Whatever your need, Jesus can meet it. Whatever your concern he is able. You are not alone, you are connected to Almighty God and the power of prayer is in your reach. If you can pray, do so expecting that God hears you and will respond. If you feel you can't pray, don't know the words to say or just don't have the strength to do so leave you prayer need here in the comments and I and others will pray for you. Be blessed, keep your eyes on Jesus and know you are plugged into the power of prayer.

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.  John 14:13-14
