Can you hear them? There are people everywhere raising their voices. Some are complaining, others are questioning and some are praising. They speak in different languages and from different corners of the earth. Minute after minute, day after day, voices continue to carry around the globe. Just as some cease because it is time for slumber others begin as they start a new day. All those words. So much being said. So many people wanting to be heard.
God gave you a personal, one of a kind voice. He knows exactly what it sounds like. He designed it just as he designed you. He hears you when you speak and cherishes the time you spend speaking with him. He loves even more when you take the time to be still enough to hear his voice. Isn't it incredible to think that God, the Creator of the Universe, wants to talk to you! It is even more amazing to consider that the scriptures describe God's voice as thundering but to you He speaks in a still small voice. That means you will need to be quiet and focused to hear Him. God's voice is like no other voice. You will know it and be moved by it. Be sure to praise Him with your voice in response. He really loves your voice so very much.
"God's voice thunders in marvelous ways: he does great things beyond our understanding." Job 37:5
