Maybe it has crossed your mind. You likely thought about it and then either pushed it from your thinking or perhaps mentioned it to someone close to you. Could it possibly be that we are living in the end times? Much is written in God's Word about these events. We are told that the Lord will return at a time that no one but the Father knows. We are also told that it will be as it was in the days of Noah. The church and the righteous will be raptured and those remaining will see a time worse than any before it on earth. Still, could this really be the beginning of the end? Well, here is what Paul had to say about it:
"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people." 2 Timothy 3:2-5
So what do you think? Does this sound like the times you are living in? It seems true to me. Time alone will tell, so keep praying, stay in the Word, praise God, share Jesus with those you know and those you meet. Live each day to give God the glory and enjoy every moment.
