Whether you are in a relationship with a friend, your spouse, or your child, communication is important. Let's face it, you are not a mind reader and neither is the person you are needing to communicate with. Communication is tricky and things can get messy. It takes work and care but when you are communicating well, no matter the relationship, life is more harmonious and less stressful.
Your relationship with God also counts on good communication. Just like your other relationships, your relationship with God requires time and commitment. When you are in good communication with God he hears your prayers and acts to provide exactly what you need for your good. Ask God for guidance and intervention. Tell him the things that are on your heart and ask that he reveal solutions. If you have a particular need ask that God fill it in his divine way. Trust that God will respond and know that his response will be perfect. You may not always understand what he is doing but know that he is at work addressing your request.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24
