It is the start of daylight savings time which means that Spring is just around the corner. This time of year we pack and shed all that is cold and winter. Now is the season to open up the windows and let in sunshine and warmth. It is a seasonal makeover! No more dark afternoons and hibernation. Evening light and long walks will once again have their place in so many lives.
Makeovers are so refreshing, whether it is the change of season from winter to spring or the update and refresh of a wardrobe or home. Most makeovers are made by human hands. Designers, makeup artist and hair stylist use their talents and skills to transform appearances and perceptions. Still, the changes that really make a difference are the ones that are God made like changes of seasons and changes of heart.
No matter the extent or expense of a man made makeover, it will always fall short of the transformations that are hand crafted, designed and shaped by God. The most significant of these are the changes of heart. Only God can transform a human heart and makeover a life so that the change is eternal. His Heavenly touch and unequivocal love have a powerful influence on anyone that knows him through his Son Jesus Christ. Once He touches and makes over a heart, it is forever His. His fingerprints are all over it and his signature is stamped on the label -Uniquely and Eternally Hand Crafted by Jesus Christ
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
