If you focus on just a single body part to understand the intricacies of its function, you will be totally amazed. In fact, the functionality and detail of the human body is mind- boggling. To think, you were created in God's image - a sophisticated and perfectly designed physical body to protect and house your soul and spirit.
The detail and perfection of the human body designed by God is an amazing tribute to His magnificence and majesty. You are a spirit with a body, not a body with a spirit. Your spirit will live after your physical body has ceased to exist. Those belonging to Christ will be transformed just as He was. With your physical body as intricate and miraculous as it is, can you imagine what your transformed body will be like? It is certain to surpass your imagination and be just the start to many other mysteries to be revealed. In the mean time, respect and care for your human body. It was created to serve a purpose while you are on earth. Do not take it for granted! You have a body created by Christ and are part of the body of Christ. What an absolute miracle! Take care of your body until the time you are called to be with the Lord Jesus because He cares so very much for you.
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
