From time to time, you may come to know a person that is so special, kind, and unique they seem unreal. They have a certain character, spirit or presence that makes them almost too good to be true. It is as though they are from another world and entered this earth with extra turbo charged kindness, charisma, and charm. The way they care for others and lead their life draws people to them. They are an every day hero, always available to go the extra mile, lend a hand, or stand in the gap. Jesus certainly could be described as someone like this and more! Those that know Him as Lord and Savior strive to follow in His footsteps. Some are successful at walking closely with Him until they are taken out of this world to live with Him forever.
Our family had the privilege to know someone just like that. He walked closely with Jesus and lived a life that honored God and positively impacted others. With his eyes and heart set on Christ he made a positive difference in the world. Like Jesus, he was only here for a short time and then was called to be with Jesus in eternity. He is out of this world but not out of our hearts. We miss and honor him and thank God for having had him in our lives.
