Simply Jesus

It's complicated. There are rules, requirements, rituals, pomp, and circumstance. All wrapped up, tied with a bow, and packaged as Christianity. There are different flavors, if you will. Some sweeter than others, but all full of artificial additives and man-made ingredients. The Word has been augmented with clever modern day insights and the church divided into compartmentalized and marketed specialty clubs. Really, is this what Jesus is expecting?

Take the time to reflect on and assess your relationship with Christ. Is is authentic, personal, and intimate, or is it full of rote or prescribed routine? Is it truly about you and Jesus, or has your relationship been hijacked by a formal entity? The Lord wants to know you and be involved in your everyday life. He wants to be a part of all you are and do. Aim to have a relationship with Him that is full of love and honor rather than centered on tradition and corporate clutter. You and Jesus. There is nothing that compares to simply being in love with Him. Simply Jesus - The King of Kings forever.

"But we know that God accepts only those who have faith in Jesus Christ. No one can please God by simply obeying the Law. So we put our faith in Christ Jesus, and God accepted us because of our faith."

Galatians 2:16
