Love Spoken Here

What language are you most fluent in? English, Spanish, another? Language is the key to communication and it said that music is the world's universal language. Music speaks to the heart and nourishes the soul. Love songs may be the world’s greatest music. Love songs bridge the gap that often exists and can skip right over differences, disagreements, and the everyday toll that life places on relationships. A love song serenade or handwritten love letter can literally sweep a woman off her feet, although not common in our current culture. Today, love is spoken via Facebook messages, texts, and the ever-personal e-card.

The Bible cites instances where Jesus communicated love through kind words, kind gestures, and of course the ultimate act of loving sacrifice. As a follower of Christ, you are responsible to share and demonstrate love in ways that others may not. Giving to those in need, spending time with someone that the world may view as unlovable, and making an effort to spread kindness and joy even to those that may not want to know Christ. As a Christian you should be the kind of person that radiates love and virtually wears a " love spoken here" sign. Jesus did. He was like a magnet attracting even the most undesirable to him so that he could introduce them to His love story. What about you? Are you speaking love to those around you?

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35
