Without Compromise

It is an interesting world, in very interesting times. There are more opportunities now than ever before to have more, be more and do more. Technology, including the internet, has opened the doors and made the world a smaller and more interrelated place. Each day brings new ideas and creative opportunities for investors and those interested if making it rich fast. Of course, not all the alternatives meet the test of being opportunities that are legal, moral, or in alignment with Christian values. Still, some do compromise and enter into less than optimal activities in the interest of increasing their wealth, status, or career.

Jesus Christ did not compromise or settle for less than what the Father had planned for him. He did not sell himself short, give in, or take the easy way out when faced with ridicule, continuous opposition, and persecution. He countered the   arrows of the enemy through prayer and purposeful actions that moved him in the direction of the glorious and divine plan of the Father. You may come up against opposition, ridicule, and hostility in your daily walk with the Lord. Through it, know that He is with you and is ready to provide the protection and intervention you need to stay the course. Do not compromise your integrity, and never lose your focus on what is right, pure and true. Your relationship, love, and walk with Christ is more precious than any stone, and more valuable than all the treasures the world could ever offer.

"But for me, my contentment is not in wealth but in seeing you and knowing all is well between us. And when I awake in heaven, I will be fully satisfied, for I will see you face to face." Psalm 17:15
