Love. Such a beautiful word and a beautiful thing. True love is hard to find. Not the sort of love that seems perfect and all romantic. Rather, the real, never leave your side, no matter what love. This kind of love is rare. It is a love so deep and wide and full that it surpasses all understanding. This kind of love is a wonderful glimpse into the love that God has for his children. In fact, God loves you so much he sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you so that you would be with him forever.
Jesus wasn't sent to die for you because of how beautiful or special you are. Jesus died for you because he is the lover of your soul. He would do anything to ensure that your soul is protected from harm and remains far away from the enemy. The Lover of Your Soul knows you from the inside out. He knows your DNA because he created it. He loves you because you matter more than anything.
Do you believe this to be true? It may be difficult to comprehend that the same God who created the moon, sun, stars and earth loves you beyond measure. You are more important to him than any of those things. Your soul has his name inscribed on it. You belong to him and no one and nothing can come between you. So relax! You are LOVED.
But, when God our Savior revealed His Kindness and love, He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:4-5
