Can you believe it is September already? Summer is coming to a close and autumn is just around the corner. It is almost time for the harvest. Why not use this time of year to take account of, and celebrate, your blessings and turn over a new leaf? Think of it as taking advantage of the season. The leaves will soon be changing color in the colder climates. In Southern California, the start of cooler fall weather sends everything into bloom like the "horse tails" pictured here. The light and warmth of the summer gives way to a beautiful celebration of color and abundance. It's the perfect time of year to hit the reset button and start anew.
The harvest season is a beautiful example of God's love. The Lord provides the rhythm for the seasons of planting, growth, renewal and rest. All that you need to do is trust in Him and realize that he has a perfect plan. The seasons of your life all come together to reveal a picture of God's provision and grace. At times it may be difficult to see but He makes all things new. Even you!
But those who trust the LORD will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired. Isaiah 40:31
