Looking for God in All the Wrong Places

He is not tucked away in a stain glass windowed building. You can not find Him by completing a course or successfully meeting all the requirements of a man made process that culminates in a ceremony, or provides you with a certificate of completion. He is not reached through dietary limitations, substitutions, or exclusions. He does not hide or limit himself to a certain geographic area or culture. You do not need to speak a particular language, look a certain way, or perform a set ritual to speak to and know Him. His glory and majesty is not confined to special holy days, holidays, or celebrations. He does not discriminate based on age, dress, or social status.  He is not available through complex schemes and does not require that you join a club, group, or particular following. Still many search for Him in some times odd and often twisted ways. Others replace Him in their lives with empty promises or destructive behaviors and addictions.

He is the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for the sins of all, yes any, that confess and die to their sinful ways to acknowledge and follow Him. You need not look any further than the cross to begin your journey with the Living God. He is alive! Do not waste another moment of another day being lost on life's walk without Him. He loves you! He died for you! He is right where you are right now waiting for you to simply reach out to Him, confess with your lips that you are a sinner, and ask Him into your heart and life as your Savior. He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. He is the beginning and the end. The search is over! He has risen and reigns forever and ever. Amen.

"Why are you looking in a tomb for someone who is alive? He isn't here! He has come back to life again!..." Luke 24:5-6
