Journey in Faith

It may be because I am married to a high school football coach that I am such a big football fan. I love watching football and could just spend the whole weekend doing it. This weekend was just the weekend for that with the NFL playoffs in progress. The funny thing is that I don't have a favorite football team. Still, all the hype with Tim Tebow, had led me to start cheering for him and the Denver Broncos. Tim has taken quite a journey in faith gaining admirers and even skeptics and enemies. Still, win or lose, his love for Jesus Christ provides all the focus that he needs to keep on the path he walks with the Lord.

Perhaps you have experienced your own up close and personal walk with the Lord. You may have had Him point out the path to follow and know that He has been there to support you even when you had doubt and fear. See, a journey in faith is often one that can leave you feeling vulnerable and unsure. It is often like taking a step in the dark and trusting that you are following the right road even when you can’t see where it leads.

As long as you are following the Lord, and are true to the journey you will never be lost, abandoned or unable to find the way. Yes, at times it may seem you are all on your own, but honestly, Christ is right where you are leading the way. Life is a journey and when you journey through life with the Lord, you have all you could ever need. Skeptics and unbelievers will stand in awe of you when you journey in faith with Jesus.

For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all your paths. Proverbs 5:21
