New Paths

Journeys require paths. Paths are walkways that take you from here to there, and from there to the next place. Unless of course you are a path repeater. Path repeaters take a path from here to there and then back again. They repeat the exact journey, walking the same path over and over, year after year. They are just like sheep. Sheep walk in the same path eating the same grass, over and over, until there is nothing left. Talk about being in a rut! Sheep create their own rut, which is the reason sheep need a Shepherd. A Shepherd guides the sheep on to new paths so that they can continue to graze and grow.

You too need a Shepherd to lead you to new paths. Jesus Christ is the Shepherd. He will guide you on life's journey with loving-kindness. When you obey and follow Him, He will provide. He will lead you on paths of righteousness and you will lack nothing. In Him you will know steadfastness, peace, strength, and wisdom. There is no one more able to lead you then Christ. Stand up. Put one foot in front of the other and get on with the journey to a new way and a new life in Jesus.

"He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake" Psalm 23:3
